Vintage Milk Glass Westmoreland Pitcher

$20.00

Condition: Pre-owned - Excellent

Dimensions: 4.75” x 2.75”

Pattern: Paneled grape

Westmoreland milk glass is legendary. Seriously.

The Westmoreland Glass Company (previously Westmoreland Specialty Company) began producing high quality glass in the early 1900s. They even produced throughout the Great Depression, unlike many other glass companies. The company shuttered their factory in 1984, leaving a legacy of highly collectible glass.

This Westmoreland pitcher features their paneled grape pattern, second only to their classic hen on a nest motif in popularity. I generally label vintage glass as delicate or dainty or fragile or some other such adjective, but this little pitcher is more substantial than most. That said, do NOT toss it on the ground from the second floor of your home. Or onto concrete or ceramic tile.

It is in pristine condition - ready for a Westmoreland Glass collector to scoop up and display!
