Antique 1.5 Gallon Stoneware Crock

$40.00

Condition: Pre-owned - Fair

Dimensions: 7” x 9.5”

Capacity: 1.5 gallons

There’s something kinda cool about antique stoneware crocks. Before the advent of refrigeration, kitchens couldn’t function without them. They were used for transporting food and liquids and making preserves.

You wouldn’t want to use this particular crock to make pickles, but you could use it for tons of other things. They can be simple decorative pieces or vases, as well as storage and display for utensils.

Read more about the history of stoneware crocks HERE. The author also shows them in use as home décor; I’ve included two of her crock images in the product listing.
